Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) offers a single unified platform for integrating API lifecycle, application and data integration, enterprise messaging, event streaming and high-speed data transfer. The integration capabilities of CP4I (including API Connect, APP Connect, MQ, IBM Event Streams, Aspera and DataPower) are deployed easily and simply on Red Hat OpenShift environment almost anywhere: on any public cloud, private cloud and also on premises. CP4I enables you to set up the appropriate organizational models and governance practices to support agile integration, simplify the management of your integration architecture, reduce costs and integrate across any on-premises or Kubernetes cloud environment with a container-based platform that's designed to support the scale, flexibility and security you need.
IBM Event Streams is a high-throughput message bus. It is optimized for event ingestion into event stream distribution between your services and applications. It is a fully managed service built with the open source Apache Kafka project. We support all of the Kafka APIs including Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect. It leverages the availability zone support from the Kubernetes Service to ensure that in the unlikely event of an entire zone being unavailable, your applications will continue to work uninterrupted. Event Streams benefits from well designed UIs to ensure that you are able to understand core Apache Kafka concepts and to deploy your first Event Streams application in minutes, not hours. Event Streams is based on years of operational expertise IBM has gained from running Apache Kafka event streams for enterprises. This expertise makes Event Streams ideal for mission-critical workloads.
